In a world rarely seen at such close range, an intimate macro portrait reveals the face of a fly transformed into an extraordinary composition of colour and form.
Its compound eyes shimmer with iridescent shades of blue and green, while delicate yellow legs and outstretched wings create a striking sense of natural symmetry. Against a deep black background, the tiny creature appears almost otherworldly, despite belonging to the nature around us.
The frontal perspective reveals an unfamiliar character, transforming an easily overlooked insect into a captivating study of structure, colour and intricate biological design.
The photograph celebrates a simple yet profound idea: some of nature's most extraordinary beauty exists within its smallest inhabitants, waiting to be discovered through a different perspective.
